Trap Waxx Studio Policy
PRICING | Prices and services are subject to change without notice due to the ever-changing nature of our business and the desire to continue providing cutting-edge services. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any outstanding balances, if applicable, are due at the time of service.

PIERCING REMOVAL | It is mandatory to remove any jewelry from the area to be waxed prior to your appointment. We are not responsible for the removal or application of piercings. If you are unable to remove your piercing, we will proceed with waxing around it, which may leave nearby hairs unaddressed. By continuing with your appointment, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
SOLO VISITS ONLY - SPACE IS LIMITED! Appointments are for individuals only. No companions, friends or family are allowed inside the wax room for waxing. Please attend your appointments alone. No guests, including spouses, children, or additional guests are permitted. Thank you for your understanding!
PERIOD & PREGNANCY POLICY | Waxing is safe during pregnancy and menstruation; if on your period, please wear a fresh tampon or cup. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required. Trap Waxx's cancellation and rescheduling policies, will remain in full effect upon all clients.
GRACE PERIOD | Please be advised that arriving more than five minutes late for your appointment will result in its classification as a walk-in. In the event that our schedule does not permit us to accommodate you on that same day as a walk-in, we will be required to reschedule your appointment. In such cases, a twenty dollar fee will be charged to the card stored on file or billed via invoice. In the event of cancellation, our standard cancellation policy will be enforced. Thank you for your understanding.
ADDING & REMOVING SERVICES | Please note that availability for unscheduled services cannot be guaranteed. To remove or shorten services without incurring fees, a 48-hour notice is required. Any changes made under 48-hour notice or on the same day will incur a charge of 50% of the total service cost.
Payment Authorization
- By authorizing Trap Waxx, the Customer allows the salon to store their credit card for future purchases until they revoke this authorization.
- The Customer authorizes the Service Provider to charge the stored credit card on file for any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees, as specified in this agreement. The Customer acknowledges that this authorization is given freely and willingly.
- The Customer agrees to be financially responsible for all reserved services and add-on services, regardless of whether they choose to proceed with them. To remove or shorten services without incurring fees, a 48-hour notice is required. Any changes made under 48-hour notice or on the same day will incur a charge of 50% of the total service cost.
Cancellation, Reschedule & No-Show Policy:
A 35% retainer is required upon booking, along with a credit card on file.
Deposits and appointments are non-transferable to another person.
Refunds: All sales are non-refundable.
Rescheduling Notice:
Please use your confirmation email to make adjustments 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
If you’re rescheduling under 48-hour notice — A $20 fee will be charged for the service to cover the new time slot. Accounts must be paid in full to rebook.
The new date and time must be selected within 24 hours of receiving the rescheduling link; otherwise, the appointment will be canceled, incurring a 60% late cancellation charge of the total service price. Payments are nontransferable to future appointments.

1st No-Show:
A fee of 60% of the total service price will be charged to the card on file. Accounts must be paid in full to rebook. The client will be required to pay the full-service price in advance for all future appointments.
Movement During Waxing
If a client is squirming, moving around, rushing the appointment, or closing their legs during the waxing procedure, it may result in the hair being left behind.
In such cases, the aesthetician will not perform touch-ups on areas where hair is left due to the client's movement.
By proceeding with the waxing service, the client acknowledges and accepts full accountability for any hair left behind as a result of their squirming, moving around, rushing the appointment, or closing their legs during the waxing procedure.
By booking an appointment with Trap Waxx, the client agrees to this policy and understands that their cooperation is essential for achieving optimal wax results.
Business Cancellation
If Trap Waxx needs to cancel or reschedule a client’s appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies, or other unavoidable situations), we commit to the following:
Notification:
- Clients will be notified as soon as possible via phone call, text message, or email regarding the cancellation or rescheduling.
- We aim to provide at least 48 hours' notice whenever feasible.
Rescheduling Options:
- If a client is required to cancel or reschedule their appointment due to a last-minute scheduling change initiated by Trap Waxx, the client shall not be subject to any fees.
- Client may choose to not reschedule and simply cancel their appointment. All payments made will be refunded in full.
- If clients choose to reschedule they will be offered priority in rescheduling their appointment at their convenience.
Weather-Related:
Snow, tornadoes, heavy hail, and natural disasters shall not be regarded as the responsibility of Trap Waxx. As such, the provisions outlined above will not apply in these circumstances.
A new appointment date and time must be selected within 24 hours of receiving the notice of rescheduling; failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of the client's deposit or initial payment.
LIABILITY WAIVER, INFORMED CONSENT, AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS
THIS LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS ("WAIVER") IS MADE BY THE UNDERSIGNED CLIENT, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE CUSTOMER," IN FAVOR OF TRAP WAXX, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "THE SERVICE PROVIDER."
1. LIABILITY WAIVER:
THE SERVICE PROVIDER HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY, OR LEGAL OBLIGATION FOR ANY ALLERGIC REACTIONS, SKIN IRRITATIONS, INJURIES, OR ANY OTHER ADVERSE EFFECTS THAT MAY OCCUR OR BE SUSTAINED BY THE CUSTOMER AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE WAXING SERVICES RENDERED BY THE SERVICE PROVIDER.
THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES AND UNDERSTANDS THAT THEY ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE WAXING SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- ALLERGIC REACTIONS TO WAX OR OTHER PRODUCTS USED DURING THE SERVICES.
- SKIN IRRITATIONS, INCLUDING REDNESS, BUMPS, SORENESS, AND ITCHING.
- RISK OF INFECTION IF PROPER AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED.
- DISCOMFORT DURING THE WAXING PROCEDURE.
THE CUSTOMER HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, AND DISCHARGES THE SERVICE PROVIDER FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, ACTIONS, LIABILITIES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, THAT MAY ARISE FROM SUCH ALLERGIC REACTIONS, SKIN IRRITATIONS, INJURIES, OR OTHER ADVERSE EFFECTS. THIS WAIVER OF LIABILITY SHALL BE BINDING UPON THE CUSTOMER AND THEIR HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND ASSIGNS.
2. INFORMED CONSENT:
- THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT ALL SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED BY TRAINED AND CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THE PROCEDURES AND TECHNIQUES OF BODY WAXING.
- THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO DISCLOSE ANY RELEVANT SKIN CONDITIONS, ALLERGIES, OR MEDICATIONS THAT MAY AFFECT THE WAXING SERVICE. FAILURE TO DISCLOSE SUCH INFORMATION MAY RESULT IN ADVERSE REACTIONS, FOR WHICH THE CUSTOMER ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILITY.
- THE CUSTOMER UNDERSTANDS THAT POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE REDNESS, BUMPS, SORENESS, AND ITCHING. THE CUSTOMER IS ENCOURAGED TO VOICE ANY DISCOMFORT EXPERIENCED DURING THE SESSION AND UNDERSTANDS THAT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO STOP THE PROCEDURE AT ANY TIME.
3. INDEMNIFICATION:
THE CUSTOMER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SERVICE PROVIDER, ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND CONTRACTORS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR EXPENSES, INCLUDING ATTORNEY FEES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE CUSTOMER'S PARTICIPATION IN THE WAXING SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY CLAIMS MADE BY THIRD PARTIES.
4. NO PIERCING OF AGREEMENT:
THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THIS WAIVER IS A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT THAT MAY NOT BE CONTRADICTED, ALTERED, OR AMENDED WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF BOTH PARTIES. THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT ANY DISPUTES ARISING FROM THIS WAIVER SHALL BE RESOLVED FOLLOWING THE LAWS OF THE JURISDICTION IN DAVIDSON COUNTY.
5. ELECTRONIC ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
BY BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT AT TRAP WAXX, THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS LIABILITY WAIVER, INFORMED CONSENT, AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS. THE CUSTOMER PROVIDES THEIR ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE, INDICATING THEIR CONSENT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN, AND AFFIRMS THAT THEY ARE OF LEGAL AGE AND COMPETENT TO ENTER INTO THIS AGREEMENT.
